Our Philosophy

Great ingredients make great food.

There’s no getting around it–if you’re using inferior turkey, you’re going to have a bad sandwich.  That’s why we use the best quality and freshest ingredients we can get our hands on.  That’s also why we do as many of the steps for food preparation here.  For example, most people don’t know the truth behind roast beef bought from most delis.  Roast beef has that cooked exterior and nice, pink interior, right?  Actually, most roast beef you get is cooked fully, then injected with pink dye and preservatives.  That’s why we at Ellie’s get a whole, unroasted top round, sear, and roast it off here, so you get real roast beef with no additives.  We think that’s why our roast beef sandwich is so delicious.
